Your Google connection

MotherTube uses your Google name and email to identify your signed-in session, and read-only YouTube access to display your subscribed channels. We do not change your subscriptions, upload videos, or post comments.

What we store

Your account details and an encrypted access token are stored in your server-side session. The website does not save a copy of your subscription list to its database. Channel information is requested from YouTube when you open or refresh your subscriptions page.

Disconnecting

Signing out clears your MotherTube session. When your Google authorization expires, you will be asked to sign in again. You can also remove MotherTube access at any time in your Google account connections.

Watching videos

Channel links open YouTube, where Google's privacy policy and YouTube's terms apply. Channel images are served by Google's image services.
